After a frightening storm wrecks their home, Laura, a swift sloth, and her eccentric family relocate to the big city in their old, rusty food truck named ‘Gordito’, aiming to succeed in their business. Their tasty food draws the attention of a sharp cheetah named Dotti Pace (Leslie Jones), who is determined to revive her struggling fast food venture, Zoom Fuel.

Will this small family be able to set aside their differences and protect their recipe book from this stylishly dressed cheetah and her hyperactive taste testers?

The film showcases the voice talents of Leslie Jones (This Flag Means Death, Saturday Night Live), Remy Hii (Crazy Rich Asians, Spiderman: Far From Home), Dan Brumm (Bluey), Teo Vergara (Crazy Fun Park), and Olivia Vasquez (Thor: Love & Thunder).

"The Sloth Lane" marks the debut feature for writer and director Tania Vincent, establishing her as the first woman in Australia to both write and direct an animated feature film.

In 2023, Tania co-directed the animated feature "Scarygirl," inspired by the critically acclaimed graphic novel. This achievement earned her the ‘Best Direction in Animation’ award at the 2023 ADG Awards. "Scarygirl" was subsequently nominated for four Australian Academy Awards.

In 2021, Tania, along with her writing partner Ryan Greaves, won the Imagine Impact screenwriting initiative, which resulted in their feature screenplay being sold to Netflix in the US.

Prior to her directing career, Tania was an animator with over 16 years of experience. She aims to create films that leave audiences feeling more hopeful, inspired, and less alone.
