Recent Seasonal Winners of the Montreal Women Film Festival

The Montreal Women Film Festival was established by a group of Canadian artists and filmmakers who are passionate about cinema, independent filmmaking, and the role of women in film and media. Each year, the festival's screenings take place at Montreal's Cinema du Parc and various art centers to coincide with International Women's Day in March. The festival presents its annual selection at a live event, while seasonal winners and nominees are showcased digitally via Women Cinema Daily.

The festival has partnered with event organizers, digital platforms, and magazines to support female talents in media. It aims to offer women directors opportunities for screenings in digital formats and cinemas. The festival team is committed to highlighting both emerging and established female filmmakers from Canada and around the world across different genres.
