ICONIC is a raw and unapologetic fusion of music video, experimental cinema, and queer manifesto. Featuring the original song ICONIC, this completely independent short film is driven by an all-trans and non-binary team. No budget safety net. No rules. Just pure self-expression.

Filmed entirely on vibrant Super 8mm, it showcases the fierce presence of Montreal’s Aizysse Baga, who performs, styles, and designs every detail herself.

Canadian independent filmmaker April opened her first video studio at 21 in Montreal. She has directed numerous music videos and several TV shows over the years. She is known for her passion for lighting, which enables her to create unique atmospheres. Her experimental project was a winner of Montreal Women Film Festival.
