Be sure to attend the upcoming live screening event, complete with a red carpet and photoshoot, at Cinema du Parc in Montreal. It will feature the finalists of the Montreal Women Film Festival in categories such as animation, drama, documentary, and experimental cinema.

The inaugural Montreal Women Film Festival began a few years ago at Cinema du Parc in celebration of International Women's Day on March 8th. During the event, Linda Serpone, President of the Montreal Council of Women, highlighted the festival's significance in acknowledging films focused on women's rights and supporting female directors.

The yearly screenings and competition emphasize the influence of independent female filmmakers who produce both short and feature films across different genres. Our aim is to provide women directors with opportunities for digital and cinema screenings. Our team is dedicated to showcasing emerging and established international and Canadian female filmmakers across various genres.
