Bridges

"Bridges" is about two women from different countries searching for purpose in London. Their friendship has always been the grounding force amidst the chaos, which is put to the test when conflict arises, and familial drama surfaces.



Tess Goldwyn is a New York City based actor and filmmaker. She received her Bachelors in Theatre and Religion from Northwestern University and a Masters in Acting from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. She has worked at Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Williamstown Theatre Festival and studied at the British American Drama Academy in Oxford. Filmmaking credits include her 2019 directorial debut “Red Flags”, which premiered at NY Film Awards (semi-finalist), Lift-off, IndieX (award winner), Festival of the Moving Image (best festival short), Indie Shorts (award winner) and was an honorable mention at the Santa Monica Film Festival. Her short “but i’m here too” (writer/co-director) premiered at the 2021 Boston Film Festival. Her short “Within Reach” (writer/director) is set to premiere at 2022 New York Shorts, and will later screen at TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles as a part of Hollyshorts 2022/23 Film Screening Series and at the 6th LA Women in Film Festival. Her feature film screenplay Romance was a finalist for the Almanack Screenwriters Colony with the Nantucket Film Festival. Acting credits include "Murphy Brown," "New Amsterdam," Disney’s "Better Nate Than Ever," and the upcoming independent feature film "Inappropriate Behavior" starring Bobby Cannavale and Robert De Niro.

Silvia D'Anastasio is an Italian actress and director based in Rome and London. She received her Bachelors in Acting from Civica scuola Di Teatro Paolo Grassi in Milan and a Masters degree in Acting from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. In 2018 she directed a Theatre Lab in English in a village called Nyandiwa on the Lake Victoria, Kenya. As an actress, her credits include "The Tragedy of Hamlet" directed by Ben Naylor, "Worktable" directed by Kate McIntosh, "Hedda Gabler" directed by Massimo Navone, "Three Sisters" directed by Maurzio Schmidt, "Shopping and Fucking" directed by Marco Plini and "Call My Agent- Italy" directed by Luca Ribuoli. She worked in Teatro India and Piccolo Teatro di Milano and will start directing a new play at Teatro Lo Spazio, Rome in September 2022. She recently played Helena in "The Trojan Women" directed by S. Cannova in Gole Dell'Alcantara (Sicily).
